Church USA is part of something much bigger than just a local gathering. We are connected to a global church with strong leadership, clear values, and a proven history of faithfulness. In just six years, God has taken a man named church from zero people. There's over 8,000 members in over 15 countries. But this is not normal that is taking place in this house. This is not normal.
Chose you to do something supernatural, not just for the city, but for the nation. This is not just a church for the safe. This is a church for the nation. Every people needs a place like this. And he chose you to the apartment. You are significant.
Beautiful. And you have something to give. Everyone here has a place. Everyone here is needed. Amen. Amen, guys.
Man, aren't you glad you're here? I'm so glad you're here. Welcome to Church. We made it. We were yesterday we were at my house. We had the Royal Women Pastoral.
What is it? The Royal Women the whole name? Or is it the Royal Sisters? Is it the Royal Sister Women or the Royal Women Sisterhood? The ladies came together, great fire. And then the guys, the great fire, they shared the word and prayed together and it was awesome.
But then, the guys got together and played a little basketball. We all about died. I'm still recovering. Hector hit his first shot in twenty years. It was great to see hype went out there too, and he was shooting. And, some Brazilian guys never played basketball before, played basketball.
It was great. And, but we like to gather at least once a month at our house and have a barbecue and have the women gather and pray together. And, so that's what we did. We'll do it again this this coming month in June. And, guys, if for some of you don't know, I've been a pastor since I was 22 years old, 21 years old. I'm 46, and, we just started Imagine Church.
And, we meet here in the in this Holiday Inn. And, this is just the beginning spot. We're believing to fill this room and then move to our next place where we could especially have the kids rooms and things like that for the kids in the future. And we just started upgrading the sound. If you No, we got rid of the little, the the very first thing we bought in January when we came in hype. I ran to the Guitar Center and bought the, the cheapest speaker that you could buy for $160.
And so we kind of just got to upgrade this week. And, so we're getting better and better and better. Sounds are getting better. And I got guitars that are plugged in now and, new microphones that work and new cords. And, but, guys, we're we're on a mission. You know, Jesus died.
He he was direct, and then he told the disciples to go and wait for his presence, the presence of the father, the promise of the father, the holy spirit. And so the disciples fire they went and waited, they met with Christ for forty days, and he gave them instructions. And and then he he went to heaven, and they saw him leave and they're like, oh, he he's gone. And the angels of heaven said, hey, stop looking at him. And and they went to an upper room, a room like this, and they waited for real ten days praying reformed, and and then the Holy Spirit real. Pentecost came.
The presence of God real, and, and it created a revolution. It created something that we've never seen before. And a lot of times though when we have these moments where God moves, we like to make those like monumental movements. Let's build a statue. Let's take a picture of the room and worship the room that it all took place in. And they weren't filled to sit around and talk about what happened last Sunday.
It wasn't like, hey guys, guess what happened on Pentecost Sunday? It was amazing. And we saw this stuff happened and the presence of God finally moved on the inside of us. And now we're empowered and let's just talk about it all day. No. Then they were sent.
We were filled to be sent. God's presence comes to live in you for a mission, not just for us to sit around and hang out. That's one part, but there's a mission now that we have to fulfill. There's something that we have to do. There's things to be done. The filled church is a sent Church.
And so we don't get his fire or his presence or experience his presence, just to receive it, just to become like John Hagee would say spiritual fat cats. You know, it's like, well, I got all this knowledge and I've had all these experience all just for me and that's it. And it's all just so we could just get full of, of, of these things. No it's to to do something with what we have. And so we're starting a new series called It's Time to Act, hence the book of Acts. And we're gonna go through the book of Acts for the next probably twelve weeks through the summer.
And what we're gonna do is real. I I made a reading guide. If you haven't got the reading guide, I've put it in our WhatsApp group. If you're not in our WhatsApp group, I'm gonna have my wife help you get in our WhatsApp group if you'd like to. But we started a reading program that we can all read together through the books of Acts together, And we're going to see what they did, but we're not going to just see what they did. We're actually going to do what they did as well.
We're not going to just observe what they did and say, wow, that's cool for them. We're going to read about it, but then we're going to challenge ourselves. Okay. It's time to act. I mean, the presence of God came, the fire came. Now I need to go do something about it.
I need, I need to, to be on mission like they were, you know? And so, I wanna challenge you. Maybe you take out your phone today and, and take a note. We're gonna have a challenge. It's the act challenge. We're gonna talk.
We're gonna pray. We're gonna write down someone's name who doesn't know Jesus that needs Jesus and pray for them every day. We're gonna pray for them, and we're gonna ask God. God, so and so, and we're gonna pray for that person. Right? And we're gonna commit that we're gonna fast a meal once a week.
One real, we're gonna fast. And what you do during the fast is you don't just say, oh, I'm not eating sugar now. No. It's like, okay. But what are you doing in place of that that fast? So it's like, if I'm not gonna eat a meal, like if I'm not gonna eat breakfast, then what are we gonna do then during that breakfast time or the lunchtime or the nighttime or whatever that fire, or I'm not gonna watch a certain show every day, but I'm gonna cut one out No I can spend that thirty minutes with God and I'm gonna seek him and I'm gonna pray for him and I'm gonna go after him.
Right. Well, so when you cut things out, it's not like, oh, I'm just going on a diet. I mean, that's a lot of times we do, but it's, oh, I'm gonna go on a diet. I'm not gonna eat sugar for the next twenty one days. Like we're me and my wife are doing right now, I think. I I thought we fire, but then I ate Nutella cookies pastoral, and and then she looked at me with this weird face fire, aren't we fasting sugar?
And I was like, alright. That's alright. We're supposed to be fasting sugar. And then I went and bought speakers with Ricardo last night, and I didn't tell my wife, but we went to Cold Stone Creamery, asked for her words and and had a peanut butter delight. And I gained three pounds last night. And I said, okay.
Now we gotta fast maybe two or three meals. No, and and so, you know, but in place of when you you take something out, it's not like, oh, I'm I'm going on a diet now. No. It's like, what are we gonna do in that time? And so we're gonna ask God through the next twelve weeks, We're gonna fill this room with people that need Jesus. We're gonna pray for them by name.
We're gonna write I would say, take out your phone app and your notes and start writing down, hey, who am I gonna pray for? And I'm gonna write their name down, and I'm gonna commit to fast one meal in a week and and make dedicated time to pray for South Florida and the lost. Because if we have this fire now and we have this presence that's already been given, now we gotta do something with it. Amen. Or what are we here for? I mean, I love hanging out with you guys.
We can go I mean, we're gonna go eat Japanese food, I heard, afterwards or maybe something else. I don't know. And all that's cool, and I love going to play basketball about dying, but then there's other things that we gotta do. There's things that we gotta do for the Lord. There's people that need Jesus. That's why we're here.
You No? I I want I pray one day in heaven, we're gonna have all these new friends that we never thought we would meet because we were willing to pray for them and then and and then and then invite them in. And and and then they got to experience what we get to experience, you No, and and and and walk through the pearly gates. And we're gonna tell people, hey, who can we text? Who can we man, I'm praying fire. I'm I'm I'm fasting for them.
And then who can we text and invite? Hey, man. Love to see you. Hey, you're invited. Hey. Hey.
We're doing this next women's thing. You gotta come, or we're gonna go play and eat, you know, and and we're gonna eat barbecue. You gotta come, and we're we're having church on you gotta come and invite people. Not 82% of people, come to church because they're invited. It's like someone invited them. Someone cared to say and people are dying to be invited.
Everyone here is lonely. Everyone here in South Florida, I mean, everyone's, like, alone, wishing they had friends. You know, they need friends like you and me to go shoot hoops and go eat ice cream and, go do crazy stuff. And, and, so pastoral Sunday, the the room shook, you know, Pentecost Sunday, we celebrated, But what are we gonna do with it? What are we gonna do now? You know?
What are we gonna do? Because fire is not meant to just stay still, it's to spread. Fire touches everything. When it touches it, it starts to light up and and burn. And so we're not building a monument, we're not building a statue, we're not gonna just talk about, man, the good old day of when that member, when that happened. No, it's time to act.
We're filled. We're sent. We're together. Let's go. There's something to be done, and we gotta turn the city upside now. That's what happened then.
The fire came, and all of a sudden, 120 people. Now then 3,000, boom, come to Christ-centered now the they have God's presence and now they go and witness and tell people and show people. And they're devoted to the, to the scriptures and they're devoted to one another and they turn their city upside down. Acts seventeen six says, These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also. That's what a filled church, a sent church, an empowered church, a church that is on fire, we have to spread this fire. We have to spread his presence.
Amen. That's what we have to do in here in Pembroke Pines and Cooper City and Davie in Miami and Deerfield Beach and, and Boca Raton and all these places here in South Florida, it's time to spread the fire. We've been filled so we can act, and now it's time to act. Amen. I'm not gonna be a church that's just a social club that just, you know, we we just read scripture, and it's stories we read to ourselves. No.
There's a reason we're reading these things. There's a reason that we're here. There's a reason it says in Acts that God determined the times and periods of times that you would live No that people in these places that we are would would reach out and know God. And he's gonna use you because he wanted you no in the 1800s hundreds or the seventeenth or 12 hundreds, but he decided that you'd be born now. And then because of that, we have something to do with your story, with your background, the things that you're going through, everything that's going on in your life, your ethnicity, your culture, everything that's about you, that he would use to reach others with your ethnicity and the things that they're going through and the, and the valleys you've been through and the valleys you came out of. And he's gonna use your story to touch and impact others because it's time to act and he's called you He's chosen you acts two forty two forty seven.
It says, and they devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching. They were devoted to the fellowship. They were devoted to the breaking of real, and I love the breaking of bread and the prayers and talk came upon every soul and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all as anyone had need day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes and receiving their food with glad and generous hearts and praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
Amen. And Acts one:eight says, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witness in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria, and all the ends of the world. You will get this power to be a witness. This is what God did in my life. This is what he's been doing. This is what he saved me from.
This is what he brought me out of. These are the things that I did wrong. But even in despite all that, his mercy is new every morning, and he still chose to love me. He still chose to use me. He still uses me as his instrument. I'm still an ambassador.
I am chosen. I'm adopted into his family. Nothing separates me from his love. And because of his love, I gotta tell you about it. I got to. Amen.
Come on. We have a mission. I want us this, you know, we have a mission. This is the picture of a filled, sent together people. I want you to notice they didn't just pray and wait for more fire, they moved. Right?
They taught the scriptures. They fellowship. They broke bread. They gave. They went out, and the Lord added to them daily. Amen.
They moved. They moved. And because of the movement, they were added to daily. Not because they had some great marketing strategy, or because they had this big building or this big budget, but they were filled and they moved. They were filled and they acted. They were filled and they fire Jesus to people.
Amen. The filled church is a devoted church. Unfortunately, that's one value that a lot of us, even the Christian church has lost is devotion to God, fire, really true devotion to him. We're devoted to everything else but him, and it's time to be, like, be devoted to him. We're a devoted church. Acts two forty two says, and they devoted themselves to the the teaching of scripture, and to fellowship and the breaking of bread and prayers.
They were devoted to this. No it's funny. I talk to people in this, like, last last month, there's some ladies that came to the women's fellowship, and they got prayers, and God answered. And then this month, they're like, well, I gotta go see a friend that day. It's like, I thought you'd come back and tell everyone what God did when everyone prayed for you and everything that happened and all the good things that happened. And it's fire, and I just see this in human nature.
It's like we get desperate. We come to God. He does amazing Kingsley. And then it's like, okay. Now I'm gonna go back and do whatever I and forget about but in the desperation times, in the moments I needed him, it's like, oh, he moved. He did all these things for me.
He all these things took place, and and this is the human nature that we see in scripture. It's like we're blessed and on, then we forget about God, then we talk. And then it, I think we stopped the cycle and we just stay devoted to him. Like, wow, I'm in awe. I, I'm gonna be devoted to his teaching. I'm gonna be devoted to breaking.
I mean, devoted to breaking bread. Come on, guys. It's is the best part. Devoted to praying together, you know, devoted, set apart, committed all in the four pillars, the four teaching fellowship, breaking real, prayer, teaching four habits that kept the fire burning after Pentecost. You know, you gotta you gotta stay devoted to the things of God to keep the fire going and burning in your fluff. Right?
When you stop doing these things, then the fire starts to dwindle out. And it's like, you know, when you hype, when you're, you're making a fire, like in my backyard, it's like when those embers are together, they keep stoking and they, but then you separate one and they start to burn out. And that's what happens. You get separated, isolated, and you get away from what's, what you're supposed to be around with, then the fire just you start to burn out and just smoke out and you gotta stay together. We need each other. People need you.
We need one another. I mean, you think, oh, no one needs me, but everyone in this room, many of you, God has used in the last few months in supernatural ways where if it wasn't for you talking or teaching or being here or sharing a word that you had or your experience, it was the very thing that someone else needed to hear that touched their heart. And it wasn't me that did it. It was you. They saw you and they said, oh, okay. If God oh, and they're blessed, and it happened through you.
Devotion is what keeps the fire burning. You can't receive the fire on Sunday, No God all week. It's like being in his presence, I wanna be and then Monday, I'm gonna just do whatever. And then we wonder why we don't have the fire, why we're not passing it, why we're not because it's like, No. This is a habit of the of who you are as a church. We have the best thing that's ever happened.
God Almighty stepped down into the planet Earth, created us, made us, made this Earth, called it good, made us in his Imagine. And then sin came and tried to destroy us, but God sent his Son and reclaimed everything that was broken and restored it talk. Hallelujah. And then came to live on the inside of you with his presence, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus, the scripture talks about. Now God lives not with beside you, hype lives in you. Scripture says you're the temple of the Holy Spirit, the temple of God.
God lives in you. You are a carrier of his presence. You reflect him. You look like him. You're in right standing with him. He made you.
You are pastoral his family. You're an ambassador of God. You're the noble priesthood of a holy nation, and now you have his presence, his spirit. Everywhere you go, you glow and shine bright for Jesus. This is not something little. This is what we have.
This is not something that we have to No. This is who we are. This is not some something that this is not a game. This is a mission. We are not a cruise ship. We are a battleship.
We're not you know, we're on mission, guys. And we stay in his word so we know what he says to do. We stay connected with one another through fellowship. We break bread. So we stay in worship and, and remembrance of God. We pray together.
So we stay connected to him. And this is the lifestyle of the real Church, Right? That's who you are. The fire doesn't just fall on you once. It stays in devoted people that are devoted to God and his mission and what he said to do. So I wanna ask you today, what are you devoted to?
Question. Thought. What are you devoted to? Not just Sunday mornings, but what does your week look like? Are you are we in there? Are we reading this?
We have apps. We have some of these if you want one of these. I I use this. I can't find mine. I went to a baptism one day, and I can't find mine. So I've been using this every day.
This is what I read now right now. I love it. Alright. Do you are we in it? Are you in it? What does your real are you in the word?
You know, the word is God breathed. It's useful for teaching, for correcting, and training in righteousness, the scripture says. You know? It's the very people say, what is God's will? It's his word. You read his word, you're gonna know his will so clearly for your life.
Are you in community with people? Are you praying? I hype this old English book that says, Do you pray? Written in the eighteen, seventeen hundreds. Do you pray? The early church didn't just do these things after they got their lives together.
They did these things because they were filled, because of what God's done. And that feeling drove their devotion. That's this is what we do. This is who we are. Amen. We are a filled church, an empowered church, a powerful church, an anointed church, a godly church, a holy church.
You are the Church of Jesus Christ. You are the body of Christ, each and every one of you. That's what the scripture says. And everyone is of you as needed and special, and everyone has a place and a function. And when you don't function, it's like if my heart you know, it's like when I was playing basketball yesterday, when my heart started, like, going crazy, like it was I had to sit down. Like, oh, I'm out of shape.
I need a new heart. I gotta go out here more often. We can't be just sitting around and walking around and no. We need to, you No, so, you know, and your brain starts to think I should shoot the ball, but I can't because I real my extremities are exhausted. And this is why everyone in part of your body is needed. Every part is needed.
You No, I don't I'm not needed here. I don't God doesn't want it. No. He needs you, And everyone needs to function. So you so his whole church functions correctly and rightly and works and women are real and men are reached and all the ages are reached and and because the body is functioning, that you're singing new songs or you're doing, you're teaching the word fire god called you to teach Church or you're serving or you're giving or whatever it might be. You're functioning.
We're functioning together. Amen. We're a filled church. A filled church is a generous church. Acts two forty four through 45. It says, all who believe were together and had all things in common, and they were selling their possessions and belonging as a and distributing the proceeds to all as any had need the filled church gives.
And these guys were givers, man. If you've been here, you've been faithful. You know, if people been going through different things, so many of us have jumped in and and been giving to different people in the body as they've had need. It's amazing to see. Galatians six six, it says it takes care of the household of faith. If you're in the household of faith and you're a part of this man, there's so many of the testimonies where God has moved through everyone in this room to help each other, whether it be prayer or time or attention or finances or reformed or whatever.
It's amazing to see. A filled church is a generous church. You are a generous church because you have his spirit. God's spirit is a giving spirit. It's not a selfish hype gave. He loves to give.
Fire produces generosity. So when the Holy Spirit fills you, selfishness loses its grip. When you receive something you didn't deserve, you can't hold on to things like you used to. Right. It's like, wait a minute. I mean, my mom growing up, I learned this at a young age.
I remember I was gonna go buy a two can. I wanted this two can, this beautiful two can bird. It was fire $40 and we went to a tent revival and there was a whole family up front and they were like, hey, we're gonna help them. They're homeless. And my mom was like, hey, you wanna get a toucan or do you wanna help the kids that are hungry? And, you know, and learned.
Then, like, oh, forget the toucan. Let's help them. I'm still waiting on my toucan. But learned early, man. I'd grow up with kids that didn't have money, and then I had money, or my parents would send me money, and we're living in the and it's like, oh, here's $300 for your birthday. Okay.
I could buy myself these nice rollerblades, or I bought all my friends $40 rollerblades, and we all rollerblade together. And that's what we did. Oh, I could go buy $300 rollerblades, or I could go buy the cheaper ones and buy all my friends the cheap ones, and we could all do it together. Only the Spirit of God does that. Because I don't know about you, the the opposite of the Spirit is the fluff, and the flesh just wants what it wants. So I wanna buy what I want, you know, and I wanna do whatever I wanna do for myself, and it's all selfish.
But when the Holy Spirit comes, all of a sudden yourself, you start to lose it, and you start to do dishes when you hate doing dishes and you take out the trash when you don't really want to and you do things that you don't, you go eat at restaurants that you really don't like because someone else wants to go there. And it's like, okay, but I want what I want. No, I'm gonna do whatever needs to be done. I'm gonna give. I hype a spirit of generosity. Amen.
The early church looked around and said, nobody should have a need that we can't meet, and and let's let's meet it. So that's what we're here at this Church. That's what we do. Pembroke Pines, South Florida has needs. Real people have needs. In Miami, people have needs.
They're hungry or they and they they need fire. They need attention. They need his presence. They need the gospel. They need someone to listen to. They need someone that will pay attention to them, that'll make room for them, that'll accept them.
This this world is has needs, and we have to meet those needs. And God's chosen every one of us here to meet needs. Amen. We are filled people, which means we have something to give. And it doesn't have to be just money. It could be time.
You give your fire, or your attention or your presence or your prayers or the gospel. The fire is in you, not just for you. I love his presence. I sense his presence. I, the Kingsley, I got the warm feelings I got, oh, it's all God. It's so good.
It's good. But it's not just for you. Not just for me. Amen. It's for the person in front of you or beside you or the people that will be in this room in the future. A field church doesn't hoard the fire.
It distributes it, gives it out. Amen. We have a friend that has a birthday party today, later today, later today. Real probably No, not because I wanna go, but because it's the right thing to do. They're a friend of yours. They're having their birthday.
They invited you, but I'm tired. I'm exhausted. I don't want to. I want to stay at home and watch Netflix or just sit in my bed because I'm exhausted. It's been a long week. We had people at our house yesterday.
The cliches, I mean, everything was amazing. I loved it. But it's their birthday, and they're your friends, and what are you gonna do? And then, hey. We can't. We'll probably go.
You know? Hallelujah. Because a filled church doesn't hoard the fire. It distributes it. So the question, what do you have that somebody near you needs? What do you have that somebody near you needs?
Maybe not even in this room. Maybe it's a neighbor, a coworker, a friend, family member who is in need, and God puts you in their life for a reason. Oh my God. I can't believe hype chose me. Why me? Because the early church didn't just wait until someone came up to him and said, hey.
Do you need something? No. They distributed. They went out. Talk you have need, let me help you. That's what we're called to do.
We've had people hype in need at times, and I've been like, god. I don't know. And it's fire, god's like, Eric, you're supposed to help them. You know they need it. Why aren't you gonna help them? But I don't know.
Maybe someone else will. I don't know. I wanna keep what I no. Help them. Bible says, what good is your religious? If you know someone's in need, you don't help.
Right? It's horrible. Or just don't be a Christian no more. Be selfish and just go sit at hype. And life is miserable. It's all about you.
No. We're a filled church. We're a generous church. We're a sent church. Amen. Acts one eight says, but you will receive receive power when the Holy Spirit has come up the Holy Spirit has come upon you.
He has empowered you. You have his power. Amen. You have it. To be witnesses, to witness to others, to tell others about this Jesus that has changed your life and what he's doing in your life. That's it.
That's what the power is for, to go and witness to people. So you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. Jesus didn't say you'll receive power to be comfortable. You'll be receive power to feel good. I love that. Or to have great worship services.
No. He said, you will be my witness. This is what happened in my life, and this is what God is doing. That's it. People, I don't know what to say. Just tell him what God has done.
Tell him your story. I messed it all up. I did. I messed it all up, but he still forgave me. He could forgive you. I lost it all.
I've lost it talk, but he'll give it all back. And he did reformed. He'll do it for you. This is the good news that people need to hear about. Yeah. You mess up.
We all messed up. You're a witness. This is what he did. Witnesses go somewhere. Witnesses real somebody witnesses can't keep what they saw to themselves, right? God real people your Jerusalem is Pembroke Pines or Miami or wherever you're at Your Judea and Samaria is Broward County, Miami Dade, Palm Beach, and the ends of the earth start with the person next to you or right next to you or in front of you.
The fire fell in Jerusalem, but the gospel didn't just stay in Jerusalem. It didn't stay there. It was like an explosion took place because of the fire. Boom. It spread like wildfire in people. It came and people got his presence, and they and they were killed for it.
Kingsley, I mean, go look at Fox's books of Book of Martyrs. Hundreds of thousands of people gave up their life. Jailers gave up their life. Executioners that executed people that were Christians then converted and gave up their life and were executed too, because they saw a difference. They saw the change. They saw God.
I mean, imaginechurchusa were like, Jesus died, and then he came out of a tomb, and and that changed everything. What? And for four not just for one moment, for a flicker, he appeared in, like, a in a smoky cloud. No. For forty days, he hung out with those guys. That's fire that's like the weirdest sci fi movie coming true.
Fire, wait a minute. It's like star Trek and everything else talk put together and more star. None of that got nothing on that. You telling that he was dead. We saw it. We saw the movie that Pat hype was put into the, and he came out.
What? Wow. And then he says, Hey guys, hang out for a little bit. And then the, the fire comes. And then because of that, they go everywhere And they go through every persecution and every famine and everything that could bad, that no wrong. They go they just blow through it.
And to unto death. That's how transformative this moment was. No Kingsley. It was better to live than it is. It's better to die. What is, you know, Paul would write things for for me to to die is is gain.
What? What are you oh, I give everything away. I don't care about my stuff. What? What are you talking about? This this life is all about saving that.
No. People that just were completely changed. And now and telling the world, and people are like, wow. What is going on? This is crazy. And they're converting.
Hundreds of thousands, and the biggest movement ever is created. Witnesses. You're a witness. The church was sent. You were sent. So every week for the next twelve weeks, we're gonna watch the early church move, but we ain't gonna just watch it, we're gonna move too.
We're gonna just, oh, it's great they moved. Oh, it's great. I love that. I love how the movement took place. Oh, it's great. I'm going back home.
I'll see you next week. No. No. No. No. No.
No. We got things to do. We got people to reach. We gotta do the same thing. If they did it, I gotta do it. We gotta keep writing the next chapter of the book of acts.
It's time to act, man. This ain't something that's just for us. We're gonna go through the next twelve weeks. We're gonna watch what they did, and then we're gonna go do the same things. We're gonna watch how they took the fire into homes and the streets and the cities and nations every week. And we're gonna do the same thing.
We got to, We're not here to play games. We're not here to just, oh, we did church. We had three good songs. I love Alessandra when she sang that. Oh, it was amazing. And now I gotta go to work.
I'll see you later. And that's it? No. That ain't it, girl. That ain't it. Act.
Ask God. Pray for one name daily. God, who is it I'm praying for? I'm gonna pray for them. I'm gonna commit to fast one meal a week. I'm gonna fast.
You're gonna fast. They fasted in the Bible. Fast. It's amazing. Try it. Do it.
Fast. And then tell people. We're gonna tell people. We gotta keep telling people and communicating what we know to be and tell people. Invite people to church to hear the gospel, to hear the good news, to experience his presence, to be transformed. We didn't receive this fire to keep it.
The fire, the presence of God to keep it to ourselves. We have it to take it. So who are you praying for? Not generally, but specifically, who fire what's their name? Write it in your phone. Write in your notes app.
Take your phone out and say, I'm gonna be praying for that person, that family member. I'm praying for them. I'm praying for them. Who in your life doesn't know Jesus? Who's in your neighborhood? Who's at your job?
Who's in your family? Write them down. Carry it. Pray for them every morning. God, I'm praying for them that they're gonna open their eyes, that their hearts are gonna be changed. They're gonna come back to you.
Lord, I pray for your ministering spirits. I pray for your angels from heaven to go and visit their house. I pray, Lord, use me. Give me opportunity to speak to them and communicate to them because the fire is in you is meant for them. Amen. The fire in you is meant for them.
Amen? The early church didn't celebrate Pentecost and then Kos, they celebrated Pentecost and moved. It's time to move. Amen? The 120 people, 3,000 people fire next filled in one day. They kept going.
They real. They preached. They gave. They got persecuted. They kept going. Oh, they persecuted me.
They were mean to me. Who cares? Keep going. You No? They got scattered. They kept going.
They got thrown into prison. They kept going. Amen. They kept going. They kept going. They got offended.
They kept going. They got, you know, a friend of seven. They kept going. You know? Acts seventeen six, these men who have turned the world upside down have come here also. This is description of the filled, sent together people, a description of Imagine Church, a description of you.
You've been filled. The fire has fallen. The power has come. You are we are not a spectator Church, right? We are not a cruise ship. We are a battleship.
Amen. You are a battleship built for a mission built for impact your kids, your home, your family. We're going to win our family. We're going to win our kids. Our kids are going to fill this room. Amen.
Our families will fill this room. People that we don't know are going to fill this room. You are a battleship built for mission, built for impact, built for neighborhoods of Pembroke Pines, of Cooper City, of Davie, of Miami, of Bogota, Deerfield Beach, or wherever, built for South Florida, built for the nation, filled, sent together. It starts today. It's time to act. Amen.
It's time to act. Come on, give Jesus a round of applause. Let's stand to our feet right now. Let's stand up. Let's stand up. Amen.
Let's stand. Let's close our eyes just for a moment. Yeah. Just close your eyes just for a moment. I just wanna I know some of you walked in today, and this was your first time, your second time, or and man, you had no idea what you were about to hear. You had no idea what we were gonna talk about.
I just want to talk to you for just a moment without every head bowed and eyes closed fire just a moment in this place. Everything we're talking about took place because this Imagine named Jesus two thousand years ago came from heaven to earth, died on a cross, was buried in a tomb, and hype came back out of that tomb. It's pastoral, it's archaeological, it's proven. There was over 500 witnesses, and it changed the world from that moment on. And that world was changed so your world could be changed this morning. Jesus declared, I am the way.
I am the truth. I am the life. It's not a religion. It's not a church name. It's not a person. It's Jesus.
And today, you can call on Him. You could repent, which means you have a change of mind. It changes a new direction this morning. Where you were going, you were living, you were everything was about this path you were on, but this morning, you need to make a U-turn or go a new direction. It's called repentance. And live a life that's about Christ, about Jesus.
He's the leader, and we're just called to follow Him. And today you can surrender your fluff. You can surrender your heart. You can call on the name of Jesus and be saved and be filled with His presence, with His fire this morning, right now in this place. And it's a decision that you make. It's a declaration you make with your heart to God.
And He hears your voice, and He sees your life, and He knows your pain, and He knows what you're going through. And you don't have to clean everything and make everything right to come to him. You just call on him, Jesus. The scripture says, all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Today your life can be saved and restored and redeemed right now in this place. So I don't know where you're at in this room.
I want everyone just put your hand over your heart for just a moment. Maybe you've walked in and you're fire, I need to be saved. I need Jesus. I need to turn to Him. I need to surrender. Maybe you've never done that today, or maybe you're coming back today, and you're making a new commitment, a fresh one.
It starts today. It's time. It's time. I just want to pray this prayer out loud together. I just want to ask you to say this with me or after me, and you're speaking to God. And when we're done, you're going to have a new heart, a new mind, a new position with God.
Hallelujah. So just say this. If you need to pray this prayer for the first time, or maybe you're coming back, we're going to just say this out loud together. Just repeat after me. Say, Jesus. Jesus, today.
Let's all say it together out loud. Say, Jesus, today. I declare I'm yours. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse my heart. Make me new.
This Sunday, I declare I'm yours. Give me a new heart. Give me a new mind. I surrender. I surrender to you. Be the master and CEO of my life.
Jesus. Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. With your eyes closed just for a moment, and every eyes closed, if you prayed that prayer for the first time, and you meant it, God heard you, and the angels say that there's a party in heaven. Or maybe you prayed that prayer and you came back today. You made a new commitment today to God.
Scripture says, talk things are new in Christ. There's no condemnation. If you prayed on that, those two occasions, you came talk, or it was the first time ever, with every head bowed icicle, if that were you, on the count of three, just lift your hand. I wanna just acknowledge you. No one was looking around. If you prayed that, one, two, real.
Just lift your hand. You prayed that, meant it. You meant it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. I see hands. I see you. Thank you, God. Father, we thank You. Thank You, Holy Spirit.
Come and empower all Your people this morning. Father, in Jesus' name. And as we're standing here this morning, today I'm commissioning this church No just not ordaining pastors, but commissioning witnesses. And I want you to say this after me. Say, I am filled. I am sent.
And I will not keep the fire to myself. I will pray for the lost by name. I will fast for South Florida. I will invite someone to church. I'm Imagine Church, and it's time to act. Father, send us.
Make us witnesses. Let the fire in us spread to everyone around us. Fill South Florida with your presence. Fill South Florida with the gospel. And let people far from us come near through us. In Jesus' name, amen.
Amen. Higher. Your name is the greatest. Your name suspends above it all. And then the angels cry, holy, and the angels cry. Holy.
You could take a seat for just a moment. Thank you, Holy Spirit. I challenge you, talk, and pray. Write down someone's name, someone who doesn't know Jesus, and pray for them every morning By name, commit, fast one meal this week, and dedicate that time to pray for South Florida, for that person, for the lost. And then real. Send a talk.
Invite people. Even if you want to today, say, Hey, you've got to be here next Sunday. I want to invite you. Amen. And then read with us throughout the week, the next twelve weeks, through the book of Acts. And if you don't have that reading program, I'll give it to you fire church.
I'll give you the link. But guys, it's time to act. Talk. It's time to act. See that? A C T. Let's go.
Amen. Amen. Amen. Glad you came today, guys. It's a new day. It's a new start.
It's a new beginning. God is with you. He is for you. He's not against you. Amen. No matter what you go through, he is your refuge.
He is your strength. He is your strong tower. A thousand will fall at your fire, but it will not come near you. Amen. Call to me and I will answer them. I will be with you in trouble.
I will rescue them and honor them. With long life I will satisfy them and show them my salvation. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Hey guys, man, this is what we're doing at Imagine Church.
I believe the next twelve weeks are going to be supernatural. We're going to see people come to Christ. We're going to see lives transformed. We're going to see people that are in this area come and fill this room. And He's going to use us and the fire in us to do it. Because we are devoted to His teaching, to gathering, to being with one another, to giving.
And I want to ask you, maybe you're here and you're like, Man, you're a part of this great Church, this body. And we would love for you to help us set up in the morning, or tear down afterwards, or help with our welcome team, or join with the kids, or if you love worship, or you can do things on the screen like we're doing real, All the different things that we do as a church, we would love for you to be a part of it. We invite you to be a part of it. Everyone is needed. Everyone has a place. It No matter.
