Well, that is awesome, guys. Good job. Well done. I guess I don't need this. We came up early. This is, like, the earliest we got here today was to set up because we have, like, new speakers, Bose powered speakers, a mixer.
I mean, everything possible No to man that you you would want, And, then the power goes out. I mean, right when the raspberries walk in, which is great. So it's it's a no. It was but God is good, man. He is still here. His presence is here.
Thank God for your air conditioning. That's why we're moving because I know it's gonna get hotter and hotter as we continue. But, man, it's good to see you guys. Super excited. It's June. What is this?
The first week of June? First Sunday of June? Thanks for being here. Thank you for being at church. We're in a series, without the book of Acts that we just started. This is week two because, you know, seven or eight weeks ago Jesus died and we asked the question, real, now that He's alive and He came back to life on Easter Sunday, now what?
Now what do we do? And then as we were waiting to figure out, no what do we do? He said to go and wait for the promise of the Father and then the Holy Spirit fell and they waited for ten days. They were in a room like this. They were hot. They were sweaty.
It was 120 of them. They, they probably got mad at each other a few times. And, but then the Holy Spirit fell and empowered them. And all of a sudden, the presence of God was released that wasn't held in the temple. Now it was put inside of people. And now these people that, like Peter, who who denied Christ three times talk of a sudden is saying is being used mightily by by God throughout the world.
It's unbelievable. He rejects Christ. He denies Christ. He cusses. He he and and then all of a sudden No he's being used mightily by God in an instant, in a transformation moment. And, and so this same power though was released to us.
We have the same spirit that rose Christ from the dead dwells in you. The scripture declares that Christ, the hope of glory cliches on the inside of you. God is not beside you. Now God is in you. You know, the scripture says that you are now a temple of the Holy Spirit. That did you not know as reading through Galatians, it talks about His, that Christ is in you.
And it's not based on a covenant. It's not based on a circumcision of hands. It's, it's based by faith through, through Jesus Christ. If you have faith in Him and you believe in Him, Jesus is in you. And so then His presence came, the Holy Spirit was released, last week. And now it's, we're, we're going through a twelve week journey of the book of Acts.
Cause it's like, talk right, now that we want to read about what did they do back then? The great mighty miracles, the great things they did, but we don't wanna just read about them. We wanna do them. We don't wanna just be like, Hey, historically, this is a great idea, but it's like, wait a minute. If they did it, we should do it with the same God that the Bible days is the same God today. He hasn't changed.
He's, you know, he's the same yesterday, today, and forever. And so he used ordinary men to do extraordinary things, guys and, and men and women that constantly denied Christ or did things like Paul who became, who was Saul that, held the, the, the coats of people as they killed Steven or, jailed people. And, and, then all of a sudden God taps him on the shoulder and says, Hey, I'm going to use you now to cause the greatest movement in history. And that's what he does. And I think what God wants to do now is change your pastoral, change your family line. He wants to change this world.
He wants to change South Florida. He wants to reach the 90% or more that are around here that don't care for God, don't know God. And, and, and, but they need God. People need Jesus. They need his presence. They need his holy spirit.
And so it's time to act. And this is week two. And the big idea today is you can't walk past the need that is in front of you. The miracle is in the moment you stop. Here's the challenge that we've been going through this, this, this next twelve weeks is called direct a C T talk, Pray for the person that you're trying to reach or that needs Jesus every week. What's their name?
Who are the people in your life that you know that need to come to God? We're praying for them every week. Take out your phone if you want, write them in a No. But you know who they are. I know who they are. Who needs Jesus?
That's who we're praying for every week the next twelve weeks. We want to see them come to God. We wanna see God move in their life. And then we're making a commitment. We're committing, Hey, I would challenge you do something that Jesus did and the disciples did fast. Don't eat fire, don't eat a real, you know, this week.
And during that mealtime, it's not about cutting out, sure. I'm not eating broccoli. Wow. Or I'm not eating, you know, I'm not eating chocolate chip cookies tonight. Oh, that's great. Because my daughter makes them every night.
And so, I mean talk the time it's killing me. But, during that time that you would be eating that meal is when you would be praying for that person or you'd be opening up your Bible and seeking the Lord. That's the point. It's not about I'm going on a diet for the next forty days. Like, no, what are you doing in the next forty days during that time to actually get in God's presence, actually seek Him pastoral wanting to find Him? You know, in Proverbs it says the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord.
And and but the only way you can get wisdom is you got to seek it. You got to go after it. It's got to be Proverbs talks about His wisdom and who He is is like silver. It's like like gold in the in the old days when everyone was like on the gold rush. I gotta go find these jewels, I gotta go find this treasure. There's this treasure out there that comes from God Himself that only comes whenever you get close to Him, He comes close to you.
Right? And so that means spending fire. So commit to spending time this week. Do some I mean, I mean, I know. Just don't watch that next episode of something or, you No, and then tell people. Talk to people.
Text people. I mean, it's easy, you No, you don't get to see their face. I mean, send a talk. Tell them, Hey, I'm inviting you to church next week. We had no power. It was hot and sweaty.
It was great. You should come. This is a great this is a great strategy. And, but invite people and, and, and, and so I want to ask you something today. When was the last time you actually, you actually just stopped? You just stopped.
Not just slowed down. Not just, oh, I gave him a glance and I, but you actually just stopped because I know we're busy. Everyone's busy. Everyone's going. I mean, when I first moved here to South Florida, No sit in a Starbucks and you sit next to someone, like, literally right here and no one talks to you. It's like, what is going on?
Like how do I not say, Hey, how are you? Instead, we just sit next to each other. We pretend they don't exist and we No, Hype. When's the last time you actually right? It's like, Guys, I am a person. You're a person.
We're sitting right next to each other but we can't say hello because, man, they might be selling me something. They might be trying to invite me to the next MLM that just started, the next Herbalife group. You No? They got some drink. They wanna invite me over. I'm not even I don't even wanna say hello because it it might lead to this certain situation that I don't even want to get into.
So let's just avoid it altogether because then I'm gonna be in a conversation and then I have to talk some fire. It costs me. So I want to avoid all that because I ain't got time for that at all. And so because of that, we have this habit of walking past things and people and past moments that have people with needs because we got something to do. We're on our way. Bro, I got to get to viola before they open at twelve today because my daughter wants their ravioli, she wants me to call ahead, they're not even open talk noon.
I'm fire, wait a minute and we got a plan a No we just talk past people but Peter and John in the book of Acts, they were on their way to pray at the the ninth hour. It said, this is the same hour that Christ died, which is 03:00 in the afternoon, which is the time when people would go into the temple of those days and make sacrifices and worship God. No, they were on mission. They're like, hey, we gotta get to Imagine Church at 10AM. I know we're gonna be a little late, but that's okay. It's South Florida.
We're always late, except the raspberries. They're always on time because they're gringos. But the rest are always kind of, you know, which is okay. It's it's a good thing. I like it. And so these guys were on their way to go worship and there's a guy sitting at the gate, the beautiful gate that sitting outside the temple.
For forty years, he had been begging. He was born invalid. He was born he couldn't he was born in this situation where he couldn't walk and and he's a beggar. And he's sitting at the gate. And he'd been begging for forty years and people constantly just pastoral. They wouldn't look at him.
They wouldn't talk to him because it's like, you know, when someone's out there and they're like, Hey, can I get something? You're like, Hey, I'm not even gonna One time I gave someone some money and then some change and they real like, Oh, it's not a dollar bill. They just dumped it out. I'm like, What's going on? It's money. You don't want it.
So it's like, I don't even wanna you know what? I'm just I'm just not even making eye contact. But not Peter and John. This guy, they stopped. They stopped. Because the miracle is always in the moment that you stop and we gotta stop sometimes.
Look what it says in acts chapter three. It says, No Peter and John fire going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour, it's 03:00. And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple that is called the Beautiful Gate, to ask alms of those entering the temple. And seeing Peter and John about to enter the temple, hype asked to receive alms. And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, 'Look at us! Look at us!'
Come on, man! This happens all the time now. It's like right when we were talking about the day of Pentecost, the speaker went boom boom. Like, if you missed that a few weeks ago, literally, we had the speaker. It was like, and the fire real, and then it well, the speaker just went boom. I was like, oh, this is only, you know, I there's no way we could time that.
And it says, Then Peter directed his gaze at them. And John said, look at us. And he fixed his attention on them expecting to receive something. But Peter said, I have no silver and gold. But what I do have, I give to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. And he took them by the right hand and he raised him up and immediately his feet and his ankles were made strong.
I love that. This is a doctor writing. He's just, you know, it's doctor Luke writing this letter, and he's look. This is a miracle account. His feet and ankles were made strong, and leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and he entered the temple for the first time ever. Can you imagine?
See, god doesn't don't wanna just heal you. He wants to restore this guy who was an invalid. He was left out of society. He could never walk into the temple because he was disabled, and now he's healed. It's a miracle. And he gets to join society.
It's what God's done for us. He wants us to join with him in heaven and be a part of a family. He does this for this man. This guy is leaping. He stood up, and he began to talk, and he entered the temple with them talk and leaping and praising. Can you imagine if you weren't could never walk before?
You were born this way? This guy could walk. This dude was jumping up and down. I don't know why these guys get so emotional sometimes when, you know, they experience the presence of the Lord. You No? And and they and the people saw him walking and praised the people.
They're like, wait a minute. This guy was out here reformed I saw him every day. I went to the temple at 03:00. He was always there. No he's up and walking and ain't no longer asking for alms and he's praising God. And they recognize him as the one who sat at the beautiful gate asking for alms.
And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Unbelievable. Incredible. Amazing. Three things hype in this passage. Peter and John stopped, they looked, and they gave.
Stop, look, and give. That's that's the message today. They stopped. See, they're going to prayer. They're about to do something very spiritual. Oh, we're going on.
We gotta go get our prayers in. Gotta be there. Gotta get to church. You know? And they said, oh, I see that person. I'll get to him later.
I don't wanna be in it. But they stopped. See, we don't like to stop because it costs us something. You know? It's like, wait a minute. I don't wanna be inconvenienced right now.
You know what? It costs stopping costs you time. Stopping costs you comfort. I don't want to stop because I gotta get uncomfortably comfortable with them. Stopping costs the plan. We got a plan today, man.
We gotta go hype, and then we're gonna go there. And most of us don't stop because of the cost that it's gonna cost us. And that's why we talk by. Hey. We busy, man. I ain't got time for this.
I gotta get to that sale. It's 30% off at Alo right now, and they end in about twelve hours, and I gotta get there No. So I'm not gonna stop for you right now. And so that we walk past because we're busy. We walk past because we're we don't wanna get uncomfortable. We walk past because we tell ourselves somebody else has got it.
Oh, God's got some hey. He's gonna send another angel of the Lord. It'll be okay. Have you ever, you No, God ever put something on your heart and hype bringing talk over and over again? And he's like you're like, Lord, I I want you to do something for them. I pray for them that you help them and send someone to them.
And then it's and then after, like, a couple weeks, it's fire, god's like, hey. What about you? Why don't you be the one that helps them? Why don't you give them the money you're praying that they get? Why don't you be the one? And it's like, but I need my new shoes.
I need to buy this new thing, you No? We walk past because we tell ourselves somebody else got it. But here's the truth. God didn't put that person in your path for somebody else. He put them in your path for you. They need you.
It's the assignment that you have. And this is the cost of following Christ, man. If we wanna be a part of something that's about just comfort, then we're in the wrong place. Right? I don't like to get up early morning, get here at eight in the morning, set up, start setting up I mean, it costs. I mean, it's fire it's not convenient, you No?
We we we I don't wanna help that. I wanna help, but I gotta go. I gotta Kingsley to do. You know? But they stopped. See, God has placed people in your path that you've been walking past.
You know? Maybe it's a neighbor. I No. Some of my neighbors drive me nuts, and I'm thinking, I but there is that couple I should I need to talk to. Erik a couple that I need to talk to. I'm writing this for me.
There is that couple. Maybe it's a No worker. Maybe it's some a friend. Maybe it's a family member. Oh, maybe it's the person right next to you. Maybe it's someone, they're at the gate every day.
You're walking by, and they're waiting, and they're waiting. But I'm just too busy. I'm not even making eye contact. I'm not even whoosh. And the question is, will you stop? Will you stop?
Because they need the need you see is the sign that you have. So think of one person right No, that one specific person who's at your gate waiting, that had been walking by, that's on your path. Maybe for months, maybe it's for years. Write that name down because before the service is over, God is going to show you what to do about it. There's something you gotta do. Maybe you might have to send them some talk before the service is over.
But they stopped. You gotta stop. Next thing is they looked. They when they stopped, they actually gave their attention. You know, they were intentionally looking in their direction. It says, watch what Peter does next.
He doesn't just stop. He looks. Acts three:four says, Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, 'Look at us. Look at us.' And they had a conversation, look at us. No here's some money.
I got some money for you, brother. I got some money. No. God bless you. No. It wasn't a transaction.
It was a connection. He connected with them. There was a connection that was made. 'Look at us.' And he would they were present and Peter looked at this man the way Jesus looked at people. You know when people look at you, you know exactly, you know how you can almost get in your mind what they're thinking when they look.
You No? There's that look. It's like the look I got from my wife the other day. I was like, that's a bad look. You know, I went and donated blood the other day, and we were driving, and then I pretended like I was having a stroke in the car. And she looked and, you know, because she's on the she's on her phone all the fire.
So I was playing a game, like, hey, honey, you No, and then she kinda saw the end of it. So you didn't see that I was joking. And I mean, the look I got, oh my God. I I don't know if I've ever seen that look. It was the look of death. Like, don't you ever do that again.
I was like, well, at least I know you love me. Because now she's looking at me. It's not but I could tell what kind of look these guys were looking at this guy. It wasn't fire, you piece of trash look. It was like, it was like Christ was in them look. Yeah?
I mean, imagine Peter who denied Christ just a few weeks ago. God comes back, restores him, and now he's using him, and now he's going out as his vessel. Man, the look he got after he did all that is now the look he's giving to people. A connection. He looked at the man the way Jesus looked at people, not past him, not through him, not at what he could give him, but at him. Hear me.
One of the most powerful things you can do for a broken person or just people is look them in the eye. See them, acknowledge them, smile at them, You know? Be excited when they walk in the room. Right? Let them know they're not invisible. Because here's what this man had been experiencing for forty years.
Can you imaginechurchusa everyone was just they already knew he was there. It's just like, it's the TV. I'm not looking at it. I've seen it's there. I know it's there. I don't wanna look at it.
They just walk past. People look away. People pretend he wasn't there. People saw his need without seeing him, and Peter changed all that with four words. He said, look at us. Maybe it was three.
See, we where's my cell can I borrow your cell phone? Yes, sir. I know you're taking notes. I'm on that. Man, we love this screen, man. We're we're in a world of screens.
We got screens there. We got screens hype, screens here, screens there. I go out to real. There's screens. It's like we're all eating pizza at Piola. It's like, wait a minute.
There's a game over there. And you see that look in people's eyes. They're kinda with you, but they're not with you. They're, like, looking over there. You know, it's fire whenever you're talking to your wife and you're real, wait. Let's reverse this.
You're talking to your wife and you're on your phone and she's trying to have a conversation with you, but you're always on the phone and you're like, Yeah, honey. I real you. I real every word you're saying. Yeah. Yeah. I tell my kids.
It's like I I I have a picture. I tell them. They're like this in the real. Like, hello. It's like everywhere they go, it's like the phone is just stuck to their heads. It's like, I'm here.
It's like, did you see the the million dollars prize that was laid next to you on the no. I was looking at my phone screens. We got screens that we're looking at all the time. That's I gotta look at this screen. It's like, this screen is so important. I gotta see it.
It's amazing what everyone else is putting on this real, and we just look and we're our attention is our we are distressed. I went a little overboard with that illustration. Absolutely. But true. And it's a countercultural Church. So these people look at this guy and actually see the person.
Wow. I could see them. See, he was used to receiving money, like, hey, can I get some? Can you get an extra dollar? Can I get a dollar? And that's what he's looking fire.
He's used to a transaction. Can I can I get some? I just wanna get something to eat. But what he was about to receive was so much greater. And let me tell you something, guys. What you have is so much greater than any transaction of money or anything.
The fact that you stop and look at someone and give them your attention and time is far greater than any amount of money you can take out of someone's pocket and and give to them. You No, Sometimes we think, well, it's all about money. No. A lot of times it's about time and energy and focus and presence and and being with them and hearing them and listening. Oh, my gosh. Listening and then just receiving.
But what he was about to receive was so much better than any amount of money. He's about to receive his miracle. Is it and it but it all started with being seen. Like so before Peter gave him a miracle, he gave him something rare, his full attention. So when is the last fire, let me ask you, you gave someone your full attention. Like, hey.
We're gonna go out to Church, and you know what? I'm just we're gonna put this away. You know? I love how we do that. I'm just I'm gonna put the screen over like that. This thing just I mean, sometimes we just leave it in the car, put it in the purse.
You know. It's like, oh, I'm just gonna leave it right No. Let's put it away, you know. When's the last time you give someone your full attention? Like, really full attention. Like, really question.
No phone in hand. I'm here. You No? Oh, the game's on. Oh, the Knicks are playing the Spurs right now. I love it.
What's going on? I hit oh, it's oh. But full present. And I No, husbands and wife, I know you got both of you both both sides both sides. This is for you too. When's the last time?
Undistracted attention to the people that God's placed in your life. They don't just want your reformed don't know about you. Like, I mean, I love giving my kids things, but I just like it when they wanna hang out, like, a little bit. Not too long. And then, here's some money. Get out of here.
No. I just can't. No. But, you know and and in general, you know, it's give people your attention. See people. See them.
Amen. That's what these guys did. They stopped, and they looked at him. And then they gave what they had. They gave what they had. Now here's where it gets powerful.
Peter stops. Peter looks, And then Peter says something that should rock your world. Acts three six, I have no silver. I got no gold. I don't got a Benjie. I ain't got a 20.
But what I do have, I give you in the name of Jesus Christ-centered Nazareth. Rise up and walk. Guys, what we have is so much more. Oh, you might I don't hype a bunch of money on me right now. Bro, you give your time, your energy, and you got the power of the Holy Spirit. You can pray for people.
You can declare his word over people's lives. You can give them your time and your attention. You you can encourage them with your words, with God's word. Right? Yeah. It's not silver and gold, but in the name of what you do have, you got his strength, his power, his courage, his energy, his anointing on the inside of you.
When you speak his word, his word has life. And Peter and John, hey. I ain't got no silver. I ain't got no gold. But in the name of Jesus, right now, you're about to get something you've been begging fire. You wish you ever had since the time you were born.
Peter was broke at the time. He ain't got no money. He got no silver and gold, nothing in his wallet by the world's standards. He's a no. He had nothing to give. But Peter didn't say, I'm sorry.
I can't help you today. Come back when I got some more time and more energy, more resources. I'm not in a position right now. Well, no. Peter said, what I do have, I give to you now. What I do have, not what I don't have.
What I do have and what did Peter have? He had the name of Jesus. He had the power of the Holy Spirit. He had faith that God would do what medicine couldn't. And Peter had just denied Christ, ran from Christ, thought it was over. And God comes back from the dead and comes back to tell him, hey, I still love you.
So I don't know what you've done or what you thought you've done or but look what how God uses this Peter to turn the world upside down. He's gonna use you to do the same thing. He says, what I do have, I'm gonna give to you. What he the name of Jesus. He had faith that God could do what medicine couldn't. Guys, we got the word of God, the presence of God, the anointing of God.
We have God himself, the real of the universe, the king of glory, the king of Kingsley, his presence, his spirit living on the inside of you, knowing that your identity is in him and you represent him, that you're an ambassador of him, that everywhere you go, he goes, you go, the light goes. He had the name of Jesus. He had faith. And this man's feet and ankles were immediately made strong. Forty years, God, in a moment, in the name of Jesus, hear me. You might not have everything you think you need to help the person in front of you.
You might not have all the money in the world or the platform or the credentials, the perfect words, but you have the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. You have the Holy Spirit, the spirit of Santos inside of you in Corazon. Guys, in your heart.
Everywhere you go, he's there. He's here because he's in you everywhere you go. So, oh, I I don't know how we're gonna make it right now, but we can pray right now in Jesus' name that this thing's gonna turn around, that this situation is gonna be made right, that god's gonna come through, and we're gonna declare his word and pray. And I ain't got no money to help you, but I know God's got all the money, and Real figure it out. In Jesus' name, you have the Holy Spirit living inside of you. You have access to the same God who healed this man that was forty years laying begging at the gate.
Guys, I want to get in. I want to go in the temple. I know I can't get in there. I know I'm not allowed in there. Society has outcast me. I'm just here to beg.
And then he heals this man, redeems this man, and brings him. And now he's in walking in the temple, praising the lord, leaping, hallelujah, because of the name of Jesus, the name above every name. Give what you have. You You don't have to wait till you have more. Give what you have. I would say I think the scripture talks about, you know, if you're faithful over the little you have, he'll give you more.
I can't help that. I mean, help people. Love people. Embrace people. Give people your time and your energy. Amen.
Pete Peter didn't give what he didn't have. He gave what he did have, and it was enough. What you have is enough. What you can do right now with the people that God brings in your path will be enough, and he chose you to do it. And it'll be enough. And if it's not enough, he'll bring your enough and some more than enough and bring it all around together because he works all things together for the good of those that love the Lord.
And so maybe sometimes he'll take your enough and that enough and this enough and make more than enough, but I didn't have enough. We've seen that happen in the church. Talk we need is someone who needs help. We got enough here, enough there, enough there, and that's more than enough. Happens all the time. It's how it works.
Amen. What do you have that you've been withholding because you told yourself it wasn't enough? A phone call you haven't made, a conversation you haven't started, a prayer you haven't even prayed out loud yet, an invitation you haven't even extended yet. Stop waiting until I got all the silver and gold and Bitcoin in my pocket. Give what you have because in the hands of God, you have is more than enough. It's enough.
Hallelujah. Amen. So I want to go back to the beginning. The man at the beautiful gate, forty years of sitting, forty years of watching people walk pastoral, forty years of being invisible, needs, and he's at the door. And then one day, two men that rejected God at one time were redeemed by God, walks past them. They stop, and they look, and they give what they had.
And it was more than enough. And the Bible says hype went in the temple with them. This is what God wants us to do. He wants us to bring others into his house, into his family. It's not just about hype got healed. It's all about this man now could be a part of the family and be a part of society.
This whole world needs to be a part of the kingdom of god and light, darkness, and sin, and destruction, and decay. And all this is not what the world wants or needs. They need Jesus. They need love and joy and peace and happiness and kindness. They're living in chaos. It's horrible.
And we have the answer and the power to witness in the name of Jesus. We have to stop and look and give people our time and give what we hype. And it's more than enough. In Jesus' name. In forty years Imagine moment, two people stopped. He's talk.
He's leaping. He's praising. Can you imagine? This is what happens when the church decides to stop walking past. This is what happens when filled people become sent people. This is what its time to act looks like in real fluff.
Not a program, not a strategy, but two people who stopped, two people who looked them in the eye and gave time, two people who gave what they had in the name of Jesus. You have the name. They ain't no specialer than you. And a man who had been sitting forty years stood up. Who's at your gate this morning? Who's who's sitting at the gate you've been walking by?
Stop walking by. Look them in the eye and give them what you hype. Because the miracle is the moment you stop. Amen? Amen. Lord, we just thank you today for your word.
It's true. Lord, we thank you that we won't walk past the needs that are in front of us. Lord, I thank you that when we stop, this will be the moment miracles take place. Father, I thank you today, Lord, for everyone in this room. Maybe you've been in this room. You've never given your life to Jesus.
If you've been sitting at the gate of faith watching, waiting, hoping someone would stop. Today, we're stopping for you. Today, Jesus stopped for you two thousand years ago, and he's stopping for you right now. And if you need Jesus in this moment, if you need to make Jesus Lord of your life, he'll make your life beautiful. He'll change it, and he wants to welcome you into his house. He wants to welcome you into his home with every head bowed and eyes closed.
If you need to make Jesus Lord of your life, today is your day. Maybe you need to come back to God this morning. Maybe you've been walking and you just not been listening and you haven't been paying attention. And this morning, when the morning of where there's no electricity in the house and then the lights come on and you hear this message, Jesus is calling you back home. If that's you, maybe this morning you need to say yes to Jesus for the first time. Maybe you need to pray that prayer.
I just want everyone to put their hand over your heart right now and just want to pray out loud. And repeat this prayer after me, and you speak to God. And when you speak, he hears. But we're gonna say it together. I don't know where you're at, but God knows where you're at. And today, he's stopping.
He's looking. Hype wants to give you a new life this morning. I just want everyone to pray together. Just say, Jesus, Jesus, forgive me. Cleanse me. Make me new.
Forgive me of my sins. Lord, today I repent, and I'm coming to you. Make me new this morning. Cleanse my heart. Give me a new mind. Give me a new direction.
Lord, this morning, thank you fire the good news. I'm yours this morning. Jesus' name. With every head bowed and eyes closed, maybe you prayed that for the first time or you came back. If that was you, just lift your hand. No one looking around.
But you said yes to Jesus. You prayed that. You meant it. He heard you. You prayed it in faith. That was you on the count of three.
Just lift your hand. One, two, three. If that was you, hallelujah. Yes, Lord. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you, Father, for your spirit this morning. Let's just look open your eyes. Look at me. I want to ask you a question. Think of the person God put on your heart today, the one at your gate.
I want you to maybe this morning you need to text them. Maybe you need to make a note in your phone. Maybe you need to say, Hey, you know what? Before I leave this building, it can be as simple as, Hey, I was thinking about you. You crossed my mind. How are you doing?
Missed you this morning. That's just a step. You stop. You look. And you give. Father, make us a ch a church that stops.
Make us a church that sees people. Make us a church that gives what it has. Let the people at the gate of our lives encounter you, Jesus, is our prayer. May I ask you a question this week. Who's at your gate? Who has God placed in your path?
Who have you been walking by? Write down their name. Think about their name. Pray for them this week. Pray for them. Second thing, stop and look.
This week, put down the phone in your hand. Put it down and give someone, your wife, your husband, your kids, your grandkids, whoever it might be, those around you, your attention, your presence, your full attention, amen. Make eye contact and talk with them, you No, Look them in the eyes. Say, Talk you so much. Man, it's No good to see you. So glad to miss seeing you.
Look them in the eyes. Let them know they're seen. Three, give what you have. Don't wait until you have more. Make the call. Send the text.
Say the prayer. Give what you have. You can pray. And your prayers are powerful. Amen? God hears us.
God moves. In the ACT challenge, pray for someone by name every morning. Fast a meal for South Florida. Invite someone to church. ACT a c t. And next week, we'll be back hype.
We're gonna talk about boldness, having boldness. Amen. You don't wanna miss it. Bring a friend. Amen. Holy Spirit, thank you for what you said to us.
Holy Spirit, thank you for turning the lights back on and the air conditioner to flow. Hallelujah. But, Lord, thank you for your presence. Thank you for your word. Thank you for what you're saying to the church. Lord, thank you that we have your presence and your power.
Right now, Holy Spirit, I pray just that you can you just fill us in this room right now with your presence. Refill us and fill us more by the power of the Holy Spirit, Lord. Lord, right now, Lord, empower everyone in this room to be witnesses, great witnesses, to stop and look and give to people. Jesus, we thank you. We thank you.
You wouldn't have all this world. You can have all this world. Give me Jesus. Jesus. Jesus.
